Description

I've completed him, I've completed him!! :D
I'm super glad now because I spent a whole lot of time on this doll! From the very beginning, when my friend offered me to crochet Batman, I decided to make him as realistic as possible. The first challenge was the head: I didn't know how to make a chin, so it took me many experiments to figure this out. I'm so proud that I finally designed a good looking crochet human head :D The body, legs, and arms have correct human proportions too (as far as it's possible for an amigurumi doll).

And the cape... OMG, the cape made me crazy. It doesn't seem to be difficult, right? But ridiculously it took me 5 or 6 attempts to make a perfectly fitting cape. (A simple crocheted rectangle was not an option because of the wide shoulders). The other parts were much easier to make :D Aaand the most interesting thing is that I've written a pattern for this guy! If you are comfortable with "intermediate level" patterns, you can try crocheting your own realistic Batman :D
If you guys are interested, the pattern can be found on Etsy or on Craftsy. Here is my FB page and here is my Instagram in case if you'd like to find me there :)
